mylab was created in 2021 during our founder's - Malina Tezycka, Master Thesis in Architecture degree at CHALMERS University of Technology. even though she had no biotechnology background, she strived to experiment and grow mycelium materials from scratch to master the creation of the material. her first interest turned into a passion for natural materials.

since then mylab has evolved into a space where we merge our architectural knowledge with a research-driven interest for mycelium. our mission is to craft not only aesthetically pleasing but also ecologically and environmentally friendly wall panels. our products serve as more than just beautiful interior elements; they connect people with nature.
